Brad Hartkopf was hired by Tri-County Lumber in 1973. Upon Margaret's retirement in 1978, the original Tri-County Lumber was sold, and closed in 1985. In 2001, sixty years after it's beginning, Tri-County Lumber was re-established in Clearwater by Jack Trovall and Brad Hartkopf, along with their sons Deron Trovall, and Jason Hartkopf.

Jack's experience began in 1955, Brad has 29 years of experience in the lumber industry, Deron has 20 years of experience in the lumber industry, and Jason comes to Tri-County with a degree in architectural drafting and estimating from Dunwoody Institute.
